PS5 and XBox Series X/S owners can sign up to stress test Mortal Kombat 1, NetherRealm’s reboot of the long running Mortal Kombat franchise.
Mortal Kombat 1 sees the Mortal Kombat unineare being reborn thanks to the actions of Liu Kang (who’s now a Fire God). The roster of characters looks a little different fem the original, with Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Kenshi and Shang Tsung announced so far. Also, a big addition this time will be the ability to call on Kameo fighters to assist (currently Kano, Sonya Blade, Goro, Jax, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kung Lao and Stryker have been announced).
The Mortal Kombat 1 stress test is separate from the closed Beta (which people can get in to by pre-ordering the full game) and will only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
