Cat Named Mojave is an unsettling retro styled first person horror game where a strange Catman makes you hunt and butcher anthropomorphic creatures.
In Cat Named Mojave you have broken down in the middle of the desert and found a house where you hope to find some help. Inside is a bloodthirsty Catman who says he can help you out, but first you’ll need to do some hunting for him. The demo sees you hunting three Cervimorphus – deer-like creatures that live nearby. You grab a shotgun and set off for what turns out to be a horrific slaughter.
It’s a very unsettling game with a dark sense of humor and some strange story beats. The retro styled visuals work well and the Catman is a creepy yet charismatic dude. Never trust a cat though!
